Looks like another round for the southeast, the computer models are putting out 4-8 inches of snow for Birmingham Wednesday morning, local weather rock star is cautiously saying 3inches is a more reasonable expectation. I hope they are wrong because I have a flight leaving at 530 am wednesday!
I checked the weather before going to bed last night and it said 0% all night. Woke up with 2 inches on the ground.
12 below here this am, it's gotten to be the norm. It's been so cold for so long now if it doesn't get below zero we're saying " it's not too bad tonite ". Oldest daughter (she's 24) is sick of it. She said the other day " I want to move to where I can wear flip flops all year ".
I hear Arizona's nice this time of year. (climate models predict this is the start of a 35-yr drought, though. Same for SoCal.)
3/8 of an inch of snow this morning in Chattanooga. Because it's 2 degrees below freezing, we're paralyzed. Sitting on the couch enjoying a second cup of coffee while they clear the wrecks and get the roads opened back up
I think you southerners are going to end up with more snow than us this winter. All the snow has been going around us.
Have 2" in NE Ga and its still coming down pretty good, its actually snow and not ice which is a good thing. I cancelled my flight out of Atl tomorrow, not taking the chance with the traffic and airport.
