Yeah it sucked really bad.

 

You're making me a little homesick, I grew up around there and used to drive and ride those roads every summer weekend.

There are some great roads just west of the Kennett Pike (Rt 52) out there. Much less traffic. Snuff Mill Rd, Mt. Cuba, Hoopes Reservoir is cool and we also used to go to a little place called Alapocas off Powder Mill Rd where there was a great place for swimming with a waterfall.

It's gotta be one of the greenest most peaceful places to ride on the east coast.

 

The happening isn't. Nuff said.

 

Well, I am glad I asked.

 

I always run Rt 1 south to Rising Sun in MD when going to DC or south - avoids DE and crappy I95 and a couple tolls, plus you can step up the speed a bit if you're careful and run the V1 at full blast... I'll have to google the roads you mention and give them a try!

guess I'll pass on seeing Happening in the theater too...

I just heard Zooey Deshanel's record that she made with M. Ward. she should quit acting and stick to singing. she sucked in the movie, but her music is really good.

 

I thought she was quite amusing in Failure to Launch, but maybe it was just the character. The gun store scene was quite amusing.
