It seems like this Health Plan of Obama's is going to create a ton of unintended consequences before it's all ironed out. I think I know why most of Congress didn't read the bill before it was rushed through. It's because most of them saw how insane it made the one's that did try to read it. :)

My deductables doubled shortly after this passed. My employer covered it with a HSA match but it still went up. Also our prescription plan is now a pain in the ass we have to get anything that is not emergency meds shiped to our house we can't just go and pick them up locally. That would be OK but they keep making a crap load of mistakes and are sending the wrong meds. Then they still bill you for there mistake and its a pain to get stuff fixed not to mention getting a hold of a person to get it fixed means long hours on the phone on hold.

They are messing up a working health care system, and pissing off the people that are paying for it.

    Well, yeah...

But, given the way the federal government has "ruled the people" over the past generations, I don't think the consequences are unintended. It's a continued rush toward more and more control that they are advocating either as progressives, socialists, Wilson-liberals, or neo-conservatives.

"Ironed out" is to continually "recorrect" over and over and over to further the cause of providing more and more safety nets to those lives are wrecked by an ever more immoral government. It's the opposite of self governance and the pursuit of happiness.
