Giants keeps the punchable face as HC and Joe "it will give me nightmares" Schoen for another year. The Giants have good teams at home on the schedule next year, otherwise I would have probably stop paying for season Tix and lose my seat deposit. Paying for an inept franchise for all these years sucks.
That would certainly suck. Are you able to sell your tickets at a price where you can at least break even on them, or has the fanbase given up on even going to games?
I think Jax is the Southern Jets….where players/coaches go to die. The owner’s holding Roger’s Pee-Pee with his willingness to sacrifice his team to two overseas games annually. Not good for the players or the fan base. Khan’s Florida’s “Woody Johnson”. That, and not everyone is cut out to be a Head Coach. There are some guys out there doing absolutely EXCELLENT jobs as coordinators….cause their brilliiant with the X’s and O’s. That doesn’t translate to the next level. Matt Nagy was terrible in Chicago (yeah…another shit work environment, I know), he’s doing well again as an OC in KC. Kliff Kingsbury wants another HC shot even though he was a disaster in AZ, but is thriving as the OC in DC. Daboll was pretty solid as an OC in Buffalo…he’s coached the Giants into the tank. Point is, I understand the drive for upward mobility in your career…there are some absolutley awesome minds now deserving of a chance at the top spot…..but for those that have had that shot and didn’t succeed, maybe it’s a wise decision to understand that it’s best to just do what you do well and enjoy the success that comes with it. For F*ck’s sake….Rex Ryan ( great defensive coach) may be recycled as the Jets HC? SERIOUSLY?????
Agree with your coaching assessment, but Pederson already had a succesful stint as HC in Philly. Winning a SB ain't easy. College version of a coordinator leaving a highly successful position to shit the bed as a HC is Brent Venables. He coached some dominant Clemson defenses and has been a total failure as HC of Oklahoma.
It will be OK, they have just been rebuilding and next season they could go all the way. Yu'll be really glad you have season tix, then.
This season was a complete bust. I usually only go to games that don't sell, and I most times just try to break even on games. Usually it's 1 or 2 games a year, this year was 7/9 I knew I was in trouble when I had most of my tickets even below face and no one was buying since the schedule was out and usually the cowboys are a quick sell, and I had those as well. 2025 home game schedule looks much better, Chiefs, Packers, 49ers. Daughter said she's going to the Chiefs game, I was like sure, unless we get $400+ for them lol.
At least the Packers seem to have done a better job with their rebuilding than the teams that can't even win 60 games over a ten year period. That stat shared above is simply insane and should be reason to oust owners.
That is one case I was actually interested in seeing play out. Not that I really followed Clemson, but they had a solid team with some very stout defensive units while he was there. He moves to Oklahoma, and Oklahoma got worse? Not sure what and why, but certainly not what was expected.
So nobody's gonna talk about Jerry Jones' performance on Landman? Damn, I headed myself for being impressed. They're going to give that motherfucker an Emmy.
