Here is the official word on the SV650 and SV/TL1000 Suzuki Cup class specifications:

SV and TL classes are based on WERA LW Twins and HW Twins rules using stock forks, brakes, wheels and DOT tires. “Ram Air” is not allowed on SV models. This includes raising the tank and/or adding air scoops of funnels

    Class Max. H.P. Min. Weight
    SV650/S 79 H.P. 365 lbs.
    SV1000/TL1000 125 H.P. 410 lbs.

Suzuki Cup invitations have also gone out. So look for yours in the mail shortly.

What does it matter if you have a spacers under the gas tank when you got a flatslides down there

I thought WERA HWTwins was a superbike spec class.

    Just lower the frame:D
Hell there's no rules about stock fuel tank. just bolt some xr100 tank on there, you should get plenty of air. Just remember to put Suzuki stickers on it.

Thanks for pointing that out - you can have a xr100 gas tank on your bike but you can't use a spacers to mount it !
    :p

It doesn't seem very fair to have one set of rules for two different SVs.
