Sean mentioned in an earlier post that if we as a racing community would like Speedvision to cover the GNF we should e-mail or call them. I think that is an excellent idea. I urge everyone to contact them and lobby for this effort. Try, [email protected] , or call them @ 1-888-22-SPEED. The winter is an excellent time to grovel for sponsorship and if Speedvision did a little piece on the GNF it would probably help everyone. And I could actually come clean and tell my sponsor the truth (I'm not really Carl Fogerty and all my friends are not really named Haga, Corser, Chili, etc.) Emphasize the grass roots nature of the racing experience and note that some of the sport's greatest names that started their careers with WERA. Have your friends and co-workers also send in a request. With enough people asking I think they just might want to send a crew to Atlanta. Media coverage = sponsorship dollars
