I walked away from this thread. Figured what the hell, maybe a couple of others have said hello and let's do a ride. After 5 pages of laughing my ass off I finally got to the end. This place is a cross between the tiger1050 forum and thespeedtriple forum plus some crack. Think I might just fit in. Trying to remember a couple of questions, yes on smart phone. How do you set the time on it. Trampoline, i'm up in the air about that at the moment. Only track I have done is putnam. Need to network on places to flop near mid Ohio, or Kentucky, Autobahn and maybe Barber. Being a working stiff don't have the cash do the hotel bit while doing track days. SO in trade, my place is always open for putnam days or the Indy 500, Brickyard and of course the GP in August. Once the bed's and couch's fill up, the inflatable mattress comes out. Once we ended up with a couple camping in the yard. One brought a motorhome and just hooked up. Think it was 20 at that point. Looks like I will have to work on the steering damper (why is it required) never used one in the past. So that and working on wire tying up the bike (OK the bolts) is on the list.
Have you won any trackdays yet? How big is the trophy? Have you blown up any engines and been forced to sit on the side of the track with no kickstand while a drunk spectator mocks you non-stop? Have you ever used tortillas for mittens?
