So we topped out between 3 & 4 inches but then it started sleeting and knocked the total down a lot before additional snow overnight. Final result is 2 or so. Snowpocalypse sunrise - Obligatory deck and dog picture -
I've got a two bulb floodlight fixture on each corner of the house. The two on the back corners have one LED bulb and one halogen in them.
LOL......I like diversity! The one on the side of the garage is a motion detector style light and runs at about 40% until it detects motion, then goes full brilliance.....so not sure that i could put an LED style bulb in it and make it work.
Yeah they have but Duncan was only months old last winter. He's loving the cold and things the world being full of ice to eat is amazing. Hasn't played in it much, too busy eating it. Need to sell the red quad (and our QUV) this spring. They've been sitting out there for a few years now. Fire them up every so often and ride around the yard but that's about it. The yellow one I won't sell, never know when you need one and it would suck to have to buy new.
I'm just south of Charlotte in Union County. We had rain / freezing rain all night everything has about 1/4" coating. It has just started to snow, but that should be over just after lunch.
Ya know, I haven't tested any LED lamps with those types of security lights. I would suspect a dimmable LED lamp would work similarly. But you'd still have to find 5000k dimmable LED lamps. The ones you'll find on the shelf at Homeless Depot are going to be 2700-3500k at best.
I think the regular bulbs I got for the kitchen (dimmable) were 3500 but they're the same color as the 4ooo's under the cabinets.
Damn, now you got me thinking about that. I found a two pack of 1600 lumen, dimmable, 5000K LED bulbs on Amazon for $18. I may try them and see how it works. In the mean time, get off my Ass!
I'm supposed to get about 14" down here on the South Shore, according to Mike Wankum. I'm supposed to go to a wedding in Norwell this afternoon.
