Final tally: 2819 miles from dropping le muttro off at the kennels to everyone being safe and sound at home. 7 states. Four new ones for the girls, one new one for me. And lots of great memories, experiences and conversations. Best travel partners ever!
As much as you like road tripping, you need to come all the way out here. Either drive or fly in with your girls and I will loan you a manly Prius to take them to Disneyland and wherever else you want in s. Cal. Plus we will put you up, it’s only Rica and I anymore, so we have spare rooms.
That is incredibly gracious, thank you. SoCal will probably be 2025, got a different plan in the works for end of school ‘24. Maybe winter break ‘24 if I have any vacation time with the girls left, I want to show them Vegas and Death Valley and the Mojave. Hazel was asking if she would see any cactus since we were driving into NM, told her I didn’t think so (thinking like saguaro cactus), and when we got to 4-corners she found one and immediately went to pricking herself on it!
Cool. I’m serious, I remember how expensive raising kids is, and am happy to help you out. If you fly in, I will even pick you guys up.
Deal! But you need to let me drive them around in your rollback. I’ve driven in LA traffic and I’m not risking their lives in a Prius!
Hahahah the roll back over heated while I was gone, not sure of the current status? How about a F350 diesel, 4 door, stick, manual windows, and evidently a non working A/C.
you really are a dick dude… what an incredible offer… shit like this really makes the world a better place
There's about 20 acres of woods behind me, and they're just overflowing with coyotes and deer. I just haven't gotten a picture of them yet...lol
On a conference call, door bell rings, ignore it, then a knock....thinking I'm going to have to kill somebody.... Turns out to be my neighbor, his bike broke down a couple miles away....get back on the call saying I got to go, lets continue this in about 30. Grab the ramps and the truck....as we're loading it, random stranger stops to give extra hands to push it up (obviously rides)....dropped off the neighbor, resumed my conference call, told him Ill bring the bike once it's done....as Im dropping him off, he says "man, I need truck"....
Kind of think this thread started of not looking at trucks, and guys back yard projects, actually beautiful scenery from a backyard or worldly place
