Then a black guy who was sweeping the parking lot told me “ don’t say nothing.” When I was walking by him I said good morning. He Mumbled his don’t say nothing and I said what, thinking he was asking for money and he says it again, “Don’t say nothing”, I said, “ OK I won’t, have a good day.”

I asked the clerk when I paid if he was an employee and she said “oh no.” I didn’t think he was, but
was the closest diesel station
