FYI.... I just cheated and stole the images directly from the prior race thread I ran, and I know they're dated. Sue me. New Fiat livery, different team structures. Let's Go !!!!!!! I can't think of any other team that has the boss wringing the bikes out. Neat situ..... -jim
An AMA Superbike race winner no less. I wonder if there has ever even been a sbk winner managing an AMA team? Suddenly Ducatis decision for him just got a little clearer. Cool.
Jim, Thank you again for these threads.. lots of work invested and it shows. Working 14 hrs a day with a newborn at the house there just isn't time to keep up on stuff anymore. These are like having my own private MotoGP RSS feed. Thanks again man these mean a lot to me..
Really? Why? Honestly curious. Thanks for the props, folks. Here's to another great MotoGP and WSBK season! -jim
Because it's time for him to get off the bike and let someone else do the job. It's kinda silly, he should be busy enough.

A bunch of pics of the "new" Fiat Yamaha livery can be found here: http://www.rideontwo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2588 I'm kinda torn on it. It doesn't seem that "new" enough to me. Mods are free to remove this, if you'd like. Just didn't want to repost a ton of pics over here... -jim
And I have to knock 'em down from the 10Mb range. Those are nice pix. You can read the serial numbers on each grain of dust. -jim
But Nicky and Casey weren't allowed to ride yesterday. Might as well let someone with experience go out, bed things in. He rode ten bikes to do it. When was the last time you heard of a team manager doing that, and especially someone that can actually carry a decent pace? -jim
Besides here? It's a mandated three day test but only started today. The test riders (essentially, based on the new engine rules) were allowed to run the bikes yesterday in order to vet that they were, well, runnable. The FIM wants to ensure they have a viable race package for each. Hence, Ducati had 10 complete bikes. In Malaysia. How nuts is that? -jim
