They're filming in the next couple of weeks at Road Atlanta and Atlanta Motor Speedway. Somehow I got on their email list and they have been very aggressive about recruiting racers for the film. I was signed up to do some of the Atlanta Motor Speedway stuff, but I had to cancel as my stuff will be out in Laguna still. Hope they do a good job! Edit: There's a lot of legit racers on the list that will be doing the riding.
Placement of levers on Hopper's bike makes me remember that was a la mode for Honda 305 Scramblers in 1966 Orange County.
Last sports movie I felt was Friday Night Lights. Grew up in the middle of it but still it was a great representation. I agree most sports movies and in particular motorsports are best as documentaries.
Oh come on...you know you liked it. https://www.roadracingworld.com/new...cer-johnny-rock-page-being-release-next-week/
Probably better than if it was realistic and it just blew up you know I raced with him a bit but don’t ever remember racing him… he took many years to get up to his peak speed…
Former WSMC racer is the editor for this. Ill have to check it out. One of his other bike movies was the classic...Torque. (asst editor then)
He's cool, WERA stuff in both movies Lots of B roll from Cycle Jam in this and we hooked them up with a lot of our racers.
So, Farrell is the bad guy. Elbows the hero on the back straight at Rd Atl and then gets punched out in the paddock???
Well gee, I always rooted for the guy, him being an underdog and all. Now I don't know...should I boo him?
