R6's in MA

I'm not savvy when it comes to finding their rules, considering you have to go to several sites. I have an R6 with the VIN sticker saying 10/11. Anyone know if this is MA legal?

 

Somebody can correct me if I wrong, but I’m pretty sure they are legal all the way back to 2006.

But the older ones have to run the updated airbox and shit (the 2008’s are too fast ).

 

08 and newer were legal this year if they ran the 12+ air box etc

 

check the 10th letter of the vin, but yours should be a 2012. 10/11 means made October 2011

That's what I assumed. I'm just not sure on the cut-off with MA.

 

This year may be different, because the 17s have been out for a while, and technically the 16 was different than the 2008-15 so you should check with motoamerica.

 

After Googling my ass off and reading, quickly, through 200 plus pages I see it's allowed. They allow up to 8 years old. Thanks guys!
