Putnam Park track times

The one we normally see is Chris. Bigger fella that always drives around in a UTV.

 

I was there last weekend and ran a 1:13.43 on my ‘08 CBR1k. My best time last year was a 1:12.9 on newer tires. Did one session on a friend’s mostly stock RS660 and ran a 1.17.9. The new pavement is holding up well at this point. Lots of feathered tires in the paddock though.

 

There were 2 guys there that were about a sec faster on saturday......Green/black w/black green leathers, and a black bike, black leathers. Looks like zx6 and R6.

I did my best lap trying to hang with them that session.

I need to trust my electronics more and get on the gas sooner/harder.

And with the tires....Dunlop med+ slicks, and i went up to 26 on the rear on warmers and was 31 HOT off the track and that cleared up my tearing big time and bike felt great. Bike was squirming around and tearing when i was running the recommended 22-23 HOT from Dunlop.
