Anyone know where I can get some pre drilled Exhaust Flange nuts for a ZX-6R ? Really dont want to go through 10 or so drill bits on the new race bike.

    Thanks

    No you dont :D

But I figured after a 5 year lay off from racing someone must be selling them by now..

Shit Now I have to buy stock in Black & Decker just to drill out 8 nuts that make no sense to me why they have to be wired in the first place. Years ago I could see it when we didnt have FULL body work but how in the hell is your header going to fall off now a days

Check with Ed Bargey. There should be a link in the schools section from the main page. He was talking about doing this very thing. He will probably get you taken care of right away.

I've found those nut to be the easiest of anything to drill on a bike...

I'd rather drill 8 exhaust header nuts than 1 dished headed hex bolt!

Better than going through all this...Save them till last and wait for the '04 rulebook to come out. Other threads have alluded to the wire requirements lightening up a bit....That and I think alot of people make header wiring waaay more difficult than it really is. More than one way to "skin a cat."

I think Mongo said header bolts wouldn't have to be wired next year.
