http://www.roadracingworld.com/news...h-tyco-suzuki-british-superbike-team-in-2014/ PJ was on the fast track. Sorry to hear this. Hope there's something good for him somewhere. Hopper replaces PJ. Rising star out; falling star in. Don't seem right.
Read somewhere, don't remember where but PJ was testing for or trying to get a 600ss ride or whatever the WSBk 600 series is.... Yeah I aughta be ashamed I can't remember the name of the class
He was testing world supersport bikes after the last race of the season. It would be great if he gets a WSS ride. The class offers great racing and would be much cooler if we had an american to root for
He's "out", but only because he's hopefully got a ride in World Supersport for 2014 http://www.crash.net/world+supersport/news/197374/1/pj_jacobsen_tests_wss_kawasaki_at_jerez.html
Heard on Facetubes he's replacing Sam Lowes on the Yak team. I think I also heard they're running a different manufacturer in 2014 though. Not sure which.
Well I hate to say the falling star had much better results with the same team... Sucks for PJ though....
Waters better step up next year. He was a turd on the Yamaha this year. He seemed to get along with the Kawi a bit better at the end of the year. Any news on where Brookes is going?
That would be great news if true! Here's a debate that's best answered on the track. It would be surprising to me if Hopper can come back at the same level that he left BSB. 2 years is a long time; things change. But let's see how he does. And hope for the best for him.
The word was that PJ is out because PJ chose to be out. He wants to go to the world stage and it was discussed on the BBS about 2 or 3 weeks back.
You also have to remember that Hopper wasn't anywhere near 100% healthy back then. I am hoping the time off did him well and he comes back and kicks some ass. And i really hope to see PJ kicking some ass too.
<cough> BS....<cough> Ok...if you don't know, in your best "educated" guess, where do you think PJ will end up in your own opinion?
