Just uploaded the first lap of the pit bike race from last weekend at Beaverun... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZCsLfVjReA&feature=youtu.be The rest of the race was pretty lame as I was on an Elite 80 with no power up the hills. Enjoy! PS - Eddie Kraft is a cheater!
WFO 95% of the way around the track. Had some serious head shake on the front straight when I took my left hand off the grip to gain better aero. Top 5 most memorable moment of the 2012 race season for sure!
I thought I felt someone stealing my draft on the start! Haha. I went through 1/2 gallon of gas, and 1/2 gallon of oil in that race!
Hey I gridded with the "over 50cc's" this year and still lost to Stymie's 150 which torched all of us. Sublet says I have to start from the back straight next year, so I better upgrade the bike! To make matter's worse, Stymie was running around with a number 1 plate on his bike all day Sunday, rubbing it in.
Watch what you wish for Ed... I think the entire 419 Racing team will be showing up on turbo charged 50's next year!
Best part is when you adjust the mirror. Reminds me of the clip of Rossi adjusting his brake lever position while passing people in Faster.
That was a blast. A stock CRF50 didn't stand a chance, but I did stay on the lead lap not by much lol.
I can't help the fact that my pit bike racing talent is so AWSOME!!! You win the race, you win the championship!!!!! This race was so much fun, even the running/trying to run up the hill with full gear on. BTW My pit bike may be part of the reason for the victory!
Barber doesn't even let you do track walks... I highly doubt they'll allow 1978 XL80's burning 5 quarts of 4-stroke oil per lap go around there (sorry JJJerry). Plus, I doubt my Honda Elite will even make it up the hill in turn 4!
