I do, road bike. Word is you stick to the roads as well so when all the other bumpkins hit the trails this spring we can go with and ride the loop.
I have a Kurt Kenetic Road Machine. I like it a lot more than the CycleOps I had. I think they carry them at Fraser Bicycle.
I have a Cycle Ops Fluid, it makes a great stand to hold the Trek up in the garage. I should have just modified a Pit-Bull stand, would have been cheaper.
you doods should bring those pedal bikes down to the big city some day when the weather breaks. loops? shiiiiiit. i've got your loops. trust me, you won't be slowing down. bring your pepper spray or mace if you got it. the rots can't catch you, but a lean pit bull mix or doberman will catch your ass quick. last year i had a cheering section at one of the tire shops. hilarious. they'd see me when i was 2-3 blocks away and by the time i got up there it would be 5-10 homeys yelling shit like "YEAAAAH DOG! YOU WINNIN! YOU WINNIN!" (hysterical laughter) "AINT NO-BODY CATCHING YOU ACE!!!" "GO! GO! GO!"
You HAVE to relax and get on the big chainring up front. Wheel speed is the key. Just like a spinning top, it's more stable when the wheel speed is up. In fact, you can shift your weight back and ride with no hands in time. If you watch tv when on them be sure & line yourself up straight in front of the tv. Don't ask me how I know that.
Move!!! I'm is Sedona for the week, just did a nice 20 or so mile loop starting at Bike and Bean in Oak Creek, about 2500 feet of climbing and all singletrack When I have to do indoor I use a CycleOps fluid.
