Tis’ the season so back to the top on this.

I’m making a run to Wheeling, WV on Dec 13/14 to drop off a bike (Columbus OH) and then drop off and pick up oiler parts for the Concours project in Wheeling.

This is going to be a turn and burn out on Friday and back on Saturday ASAP.

The route will be pretty much all I70 west of Indy to Wheeling and back.

I will have the big truck and 6x12 enclosed (with TRS set up). On the way out I will have a bike, 2 oiler motors, and assorted parts bins. That said, I will have room going out and even more coming back East.

Time is tight on this one as Beck is giving me a window to handle this stuff on our anniversary weekend.

HOWEVER, If I can help out let me know and I’ll do what I can.

 

Last bump up on this run . Trailer will be essentially empty coming back west on Saturday.

Hit me up ASAP if there’s anything I can help out with.

Uppittty. Delivered some big ass sprayer tires to New Philadelphia Ohio tonight.

Got a 16’ open trailer (car hauler) empty heading back home in the morning. I77 to I70 back to Terra Haute then south to Vincennes…

I’ll have the lion’s share of my 18’ deck over open in the return trip barring a 2G SV and some spares.

I am going to be delivering a bike to Pensacola from Vincennes IN sometime in January, I will have my half ton (empty) and open trailer with TRS (loaded on way down, empty on return).

If you have bike(s), parts/gear - I’m happy to assist. It’s up to you to work out pickup/drop off details.

Leaving Thursday January 16 - via Murfreesboro TN then south to Pensacola and deadhead home on Sunday January 19.

Mark is facilitating a bike swap between me and Tuna. A big thank you to him! In the same spirit, I make the trip from Mobile, AL to Franklin, NC on a regular basis. I'm happy to carry a bike any time that I have room in my truck.

 

So mark is in my backyard facilitating a bike swap between tuna and Nigel? Dope. Curious how Murfreesboro factors in, given that as far as I know none of you clowns have been living next door and if you have, it’s long past due we grab some beers or something.

One of my best friends lives in Murfreesboro (Bell Buckle actually) so gonna get a visit in Thursday evening and then head out 0 dark:30 Friday and head for Pensacola.

 

Cool. Was just down there a couple weeks ago for the first time in years. Boss took a bunch of us to bell buckle cafe for lunch one day before Christmas. Pretty good too.

 

So, arrived in Pensacola yesterday around 2 after handoff completed with Nigel in Bay Minnette…

… followed by with a chance meeting with Baldwin County AL sheriffs 2 miles from the Florida border checking to see:

(1) “Are all these bikes yours?” Me:” um no. “
(2) “where did they come from?” Me: “well…Illinois, Ohio, Alabama”

Insert long convoluted motorcycle road racing story explaining it all. The deputy basically said - “no one would make up a story like that, have a nice day.”

And the people you come across on these trips…
