OUT OF THE FURNACE, the movie

Just saw this movie yesterday late afternoon.
Really Good!
Great cast - Christian Bale, Woody Harrelson, Casey Afflect, Forest Whitaker, Sam Sheppard, Zoe Saldana, William Defoe.
Gritty, great story. Plays well on many themes. Family, emotions, real bad guys, real good guys. Thought a little theme from Deer Hunter was there. Steel mills of Pennsylvania backdrop.
I'm into revenge. I find the 'eye for an eye' stories very satisfying. My wife always wants me to turn the other cheek.
Anyone else see this and like it?
It'll be on DVD soon enough - catch it then. You won't be disappointed.

 

This. I would add, that revenge is a dish best served cold.

Saw it last night too. A bit slow starting, but a good, predictable storyline. Gritty and fills the revenge bit completely.
