I realize you're on West Coast time, but did it really take you this long to respond to a game that ended over 45 minutes ago?
Yeah, was out to dinner for my mom's birthday. The last peek at the score I had was in the bathroom when the Ducks were still up with 45sec to go.. Thought it was in the bag..
More like hell of a choke show by Oregon. They did not go deep 1 single time in the 2nd half. Not once!! They got the lead and they went into game management, let's hold on for the W the entire 2nd half. The defense was not aggressive at all. Reminded me of Muschump and the Gamecocks. What a shame, really wanted to see them pull that one off.
Good on the Tigers and shame on the Ducks. I had abandoned all hope for my Tigers, but they hung in there (great defense) and made some things happen. Never say die. Gus Malzahn keeps pulling "must win" games out like a rabbit out of a hat. I guess maybe that is his modus operendi? Seems a bit sketchy . . . . Oregon went into "prevent" mode, which only prevents one from winning. It was theirs to lose and they did. 2 easy weeks for AU then the meat of the SEC schedule. Too bad we don't have Tennessee on the schedule . . . . Cheers, Dave
For the last several weeks I've heard & read Big Orange partisans say that THIS year the Vols were going to beat UF, UGa, and Bama. Judging from Saturday's game, they'll be lucky if they beat Chattanooga, UAB, and Vandy.
