Seriously, ask the crematorium that sealed it.

Take it back to where she was cremated. They can open it, break, it, whatever...remove the amounts that her grandkids need, then re-seal or place the remainder in a new urn.

Ash isn't really a proper description. What you get is petty much crushed/powered bones.

might be the next option but at that point the whole urn will need to be replaced. Was trying to avoid that part.

    This is just a fustercluck

If there’s one thing I learned from pro wrestling- hit your opponent in the head with it. Might not open but it looks cool AF.

Heat it until the pressure pops the lid off.

Not like you're gonna burn anything in it

Most adhesives get soft with heat

My Gf has a necklace with her dads ashes in it.I don't get the reasoning, but if it makes her feel better.I was also digging around in our closet and found a heavy tin.I went to open it,and realized it was my dog jack that died day after Christmas.Brought up all the sadness again, and now I know she put his ashes away to keep me from being so upset again. Now every time I get clothes outta the closet there's jack making me sad.I gotta do something with him,but don't know what.Death sux
