NC30 restoration Part 1

 

Part 3 was uploaded today - I love watching this guys restorations - his 916 2 years ago was incredible.

 

English. North East part of the country.

 

Went to Chimay in 2018, it is a great event. Bumped into someone who was from the same street I grew up on and hadn't seen for nearly 40 years, he was racing a BMW sidecar.

 

I had a couple of lads from north England in the shop yesterday. No problem understanding them. There must be little pockets of people here and there with this sort of accent?

 

More than little pockets. The north east of England encompassing Newcastle and Sunderland and the surrounding areas have that accent. It's commonly called a Geordie accent.

 

Thought it would have been a pool cleaning guy looking for business.

Yup, a well know psycho. Amazingly talented, and willing to do good things to advance the music hw was interested in. But, a shitty human.

 

That just bums me out.

 

I think of the old guys I worked with and the skills and knowledge that is already lost. Yep Quite sad, but there is no way I'd advise any young guy to get in the trade.
