Found this the other day in a warehouse my friend bought. 1976 Michelob bottle next to for size comparison. Has some type of sparkling crap in it.

 

That's not good.

I used to like Michelob. When I had a couple extra bucks we could splurge on that instead of Milwaukee's Beast. Haven't seen it in years.

 

It's now "Michelob Lager". I miss the old gold foiled bottles though.

 

Ive found Michelob bottles and Schlitz cans from 1976 in my current house that im remodeling. Most were in the attic but I did find one behind a drywall panel, that gave me a good laugh

I’m guessing the sparkling crap is some kind of old school filtering chemical of some sort. Maybe.

It looked to me like the power went down the ladder. Still not sure what touched what.

 

Fairly loaded cargo ship vs fully laden collier. Ouch. That coal carrier's deck sits about 50 feet above water when unloaded. I couldn't throw a tag line that high from the deck of a tug. The deck being even with the tug means she's got a shit ton of cargo in those holds.

That is a pretty big tug on the left. Probably rated for offshore salvage.

Note that they've already set mooring lines between the cargo shit and bulk carrier to keep them locked together. Not the time to pull out... gotta inspect hull and all bulkheads before you pull those fuckers apart. And probably drop a shit ton of crash pumps on the bulk carrier.

 

I made MM3 a few times... MM2 was a mofo with all the nukes clogging the pipeline.

 

If the Navy expected us to behave, they wouldn't give medals for "Good Conduct".

Even without nukes the EN rating was clogged at 2nd class and up as well. Had I stayed in I would've tried to cross rate from EN3 to GSM due to them advancing and better SRBs.
