I know who is cool and who isn't after that.

Interesting the last two characters of the tail #. Do you get to choose those or are they just randomly assigned?

And I would think a true baller like him would have at least a G5...

 

You can choose the last two letters, assuming they’re available, of course.

eg. All of Warren Buffet’s NetJets airplanes are suffixed with QS for Quarter Share since he’s the guy that invented that whole program.

You can choose your registration number with the FAA, but many (most) are not available. Especially short ones. You can reserve a bunch at a time. Some people hold them for resale. Where I worked we always tried to end our inventory airplanes in “MA”. At times there were only a few available and once in 2008-ish there were none.

It looks like the middle finger is not on that Challenger. I wonder what the story is.
