Surgery is going to be necessary if I want full use. I have a severity 4 probably 5 seperation. They don't like that they can push and prod on the area and I don't have any pain.

You know it is bad when the Specialist pulls a colleague (trainee) in and says "you gotta see this..."

Surgery is scheduled for 6/18 and will be off 2 wheels for 3 months Est.

Sorry to hear Chris. I had some pretty major shoulder surgery a few years back. Separation, slap lesion tear, rotator cuff, etc. Don't try and cheat the time you're supposed to wear the sling and *do* the physical therapy. That was such a good thing, I can't imagine not going through that (at the time I didn't think it would be all that necessary).

 

This coming from a guy who wasn't wearing a sling at G-man. I know how long docs want you in the sling and you have a few more weeks. F'n hypocrite

Rob, sorry to hear you got injured. After talking to Reuben and seeing the pics on VIP's sight, you guys were taken out. What the heel is going on in NC? Guy is gridded in the fourth row in a race that isn't paying and he's riding like he's got to get up front in a hurry.

Next MotoGP star or something? Reuben has some bad luck, but getting taken out isn't bad luck...

By the way, when did ya get the GSXR?

 

Actually the rider did win that race and 2 others that weekend.

I wouldn't consider the rider to be dangerous as he has not really done anything like that that I had heard..

I just hope Ruben heals up better and faster then mine.. I will come up to the Mid OH round and hang out Sat and Sunday with you wankers.

 

I guess you are talking about me. I talked to Rob afterwards and realized my rear end stepped out and touched his front tire which stood him up into Ruben. I offered my assistance but it was a racing incident during T1 on lap 1 when many incidents occur. I'm sorry for what happened and hope there are no bad feelings.

 

5 weeks after for a collarbone? I don't think so ...

Separation and dislocation are two different animals. You don't just "pop in" a separated shoulder.

That's all between you and the other guys... However, from looking at the pics, you were in too hot and trying to get into a space that wasn't quite big enough. Reuben said you were flying in the Solo event and said you were fast, but sometimes, experience is something that can mean finishing a race unscathed or bowling for dollars...

T1 on lap one isn't the place for a super, duper blitz pass... What could have waited until a later turn could have saved a lot of stuff that happened as a result...

Again, between you and the other guys... Reuben was lucky it wasn't worse and it is unfortunate he couldn't trust passing on the outside...

 

My son thought it was hilarious to hear that no one was challenging me for third (in a three bike race). But then he cracks up at fart jokes too
