New guy here

Hi to all. I’m new here on this forum. I have been lurking for the past year or so since I first stumbled upon this site (via. classifieds). I registered as a user a couple of weeks ago.
I haven’t felt compelled to post anything up until now.
Recently shut down and have sworn off my face tube account. For a number of reasons I won’t get into.
I still wanted a place to be able to socialize with peoples with similar interests.
This forum is a one stop shop for entertainment and news. You can get your current events, comedy, drama, scantily clad wimens and down in the mud ass kicking drag out duals! I love it.
I am also a race dad (don’t hate me for that, Im pretty mellow) meaning I support my son in his racing efforts, pit crew etc. He introduced me to all of the insanity that is R.R. about 5 years ago and I thank and curse him for that.
We have made going to the races/track days into a pretty big family affair and it has brought us all together pretty close.

I did MX racing back in the70/80’s but gave it up when I busted myself up in a wreck and had my 1st child in the making.
I’ve done a dozen or so track days and now I have the itch to get my novice license and give racing a try again. My main focus would be to do some endurance racing. Anyways I saw another thread in here about how old is too old to race. I just turned 54 and don’t think of that as a handicap whatsoever. I believe I make better decisions and am possibly in better shape than when I was a 30 y.o. when I was not taking very good care of myself (to much drinking, partying, etcc.)
So again just wanted to introduce myself and say howdy.
My spelling and word Smith & punctuation skills are somewhat lacking, so I’m sure to get schooled on that : )
