New GSXR 1000.... me-thinks it's ugly.... http://venus.13x.com/roadracingworld/scripts/NewsInsert.asp?insert=4295 "Suzuki’s answer to the EXUP valve, they call it SET (Suzuki Exhaust Timing) is also handled by the ECM. The butterfly valve located in the pipe between the collector and the silencer is worked by the ECM via a servo motor" can anyone else say rip-off!!!
Gee Zeb glad you finally caught on to the SET valve on the 1000 since its been on there for 2 years now....
form follows function.... Yamaha's patent for the EXUP valve must have expired recently because Honda has been using a version of it in the CBR9xxRR for the past few years...
wouldn't the sv 1000 help in this whole twins vs 4rs that they have going on?? use the sv next year and voila! battle of the twins, a la world sbk
Re: Gee Zeb Didn't know they had it on there the last two years..... I don't keep up with Suck-zuki, I just own one...
Oiiiiiiii...my eyes!!....looks like an experiment gone wrong between the Gixxer 600 and the Busa...I'll have to go with UGLY.....Bob...
I agree it is ugly.....but I think they r going with aerodynamics.... I just wish they would replace the front forks.....although the radial front brakes might b better....& I hope they made that frame more rigid......cause is stock trim the 1k handles like crap....
they all look good at speed with fat numbers on the sides running at top speed going by the finishline. power wheelies are way cool too just mount some race bodywork and go have fun........
cole it can't be that bad you guys own 2 the handling is because the 9 gallon tank they are fun to ride are we going to get the forks check before the gnf Ricky
Should we own 3? whats the "B" bikes excuse...(stock tank) They R fun to ride....in a straight line... those bikes have forks????
