MotoGP | 2024 | Silly Season

We’ll see. How many times in racing have we seen people come in, promise the world, show up with flashy paint jobs on the cars/ bikes, giant haulers and with big name drivers/ riders for it all to come apart.

Power Boat racing history is full of these teams/ people.

will we have a forward racing or a LCR? I hope for the later but hope is just wishing and wishing gets you jack spit.

 

what you really hope for is Pramac Ducati as they lost out at the end of the season, or even a Petronas Yamaha.

The other question is will Factory Aprilia be able to keep up with the demands of Trackhouse with new parts, etc, as the Aprilia isn't reliable from race to race

 

I remember when pramac was laughed at.
Company I was with spoke with them to go on board as a potential lower fairing sponsor and it was shocking at how little it would have been. Ended up sponsoring a German handball team and a beer league soccer team.

Doubt you could get on the bike and leathers for four times that money now.

 

Bah, getting your name on a bike isn't that hard. I sponsored a KR bike back in the day...... (A tiny little name on a fairing somewhere...) Anyone else remember that?

I doubt it's still up but there used to be a site where you could see your name on the bike ..shame I never kept the pic

 

New Honduh color scheme will take some getting used to after years and years of that gahd awful orange!

 

I hate it. And leathers don’t match.

 

I actually think it looks good. Its a nice update.

 

I saw it this morning and all I could mutter was “nice paint but it’s full up with F yous.”

 

All bikes now are F1 on 2 wheels.

 

I like it.

After almost 2-3 decades of same decals and colors, was aboot time it got an update.

 

I like the new Honda scheme. But I think it could be even better if they got rid of the orange. I also think leathers could be done to match better.

 

The orange will be gone next year either way.
