New Concession System, really helping out the Japanese, no engine freeze, can use their GP riders for testing, extra aero updates

 

Honda / Yamaha riders and test riders will be busy next year. Those extra test tires won't hurt Aprilia or KTM either.
Of course, Ducati's massive fleet of race riders counteracts a lot of those testing and wildcard restrictions.

Oh shit, forgot this was the first test of the moto2 and moto3 bikes on the pirellis.

 

The concessions worked well for Ducati, KTM and Aprilia. Seems some can benefit from the special Olympics.

 

Open engine development should be huge if they can take advantage of it. Yamaha is still in a tough spot with only 2 bikes though. Pretty handcuffed there.

If they ever get a satellite team again perhaps they could treat them like an extension of the factory (like everybody else now does) instead of simply someone to buy the old factory handme downs, and an ATM to support the factory team.

I can either see them getting one in 2025, or being out altogether

Domenicali has confirmed that JM89 will not be on the factory team next year. Beast is staying put.

I'm watching it live also. Bike isn't even moving around 1/10 of that turd Honda. He starts really pushing its gonna get ugly.

 

One has to wonder how much Pecco is really pushing vs testing, but Marc is fast right out of the gate.

MM didn’t take long to get up to speed, not 100% shocked but damn.

 

I'm at work so I haven't watched any of it, but Luca has to be saying, "Vale why did you let me go over here? I didn't realize a bike could be so crappy!"
