Well that's BS, Michelin tires have won every MotoGP race this season.

Oh and regarding the accuracy of the tire p. sensors: if they want to measure to the second decimal point, the device needs to be accurate to the third. Wonder how they are tested and certified

Been out the loop for a minute. :)

I’m a doc but not ortho. I ride regularly with an ortho surgeon though and his analysis was that you’re correct about MM - the first surgery was botched and likely complicated the subsequent course necessitating the revisions. He said had the procedure (plates and screws) been performed correctly, Marc likely would have been able to race a week or so after - surprised me.

These orthos are pretty sure of themselves.
I’m honestly surprised that he said if done right Marc would have been alright.

    Ha, they are indeed.

He’s a good dude though. Pulled up Marc’s post-op X-rays and showed me the mistakes in detail.

It's almost inconceivable that a guy with Marc's status as a racer didn't have access to the greatest surgeons on earth, like Dr. Terry Trammell was connected to the Indy racers.
Hell, as frequently as Marc was turning those shitbox Hondas into broken parts bins, you'd have thought he'd have a real talented doc on speed dial.

yep and everyone here thought the hack Ting was the guy…

thinking for yourself and not just saying yes to Drs because of their reputation is undervalued…

like Stradivarius’ only real specialness was his connection to Italian high class that made him the sought after luthier… I played a certified 1652 violin from Cremoa, where they all were, that was worth $500…. If it’d been made by any of the Strad luthiers it’d be worth millions

damn it papa… yeah kind of… :) make the leap…

I was trying to point out that just because some people of unearned status think someone or something is the best that it’s always best to think for yourself

poorly…. My right hand had been smashed so much it was easier to hold a bow than use a pick…

I’ve played the violin for about 30 years now… a real musician buddy bought me one because I loved the sound so much… so I self taught and styled… played through a tube amp and 2 4-12 cabinets for years in the grunge days… I enjoy it but haven’t played out in decades now

I do have a few now and a really special long era that is my favorite by far.

Is it a violin or do you go all Appalachian and play the fiddle?

It’s probably half and half… I love bluegrass/fiddle style now and was around it a bunch as a kid but as a young adult it didn’t appeal to my angry demeanor. I also really like classical as well. Tchaikovsky is my favorite composer. Oddly none of my musical influences come from my Appalachia kin as none of them played.

One of these days, you'll have to sit on the porch of my secret mountain hideaway and play some music with my kid. My complete lack of musical talent makes me sad. My boy can just pick up an instrument and make it do its thing. He certainly didn't inherit the talent from me.
