I was like no way is there another race week, so I didn't even check the calendar. And then I was like oops.

 

I'm surprised they don't cut down on the summer break and just do a consistent every other weekend schedule. Finish it up in early or late October.

I'm sure the racers want that time off, but the overseas home stretch is grueling.

 

Id be happy if the season was shortened by 2 or 3 events.

 

Come clean with the hidden agenda. You just want to make it more difficult for #93 to break the all time win record by reducing the number of rounds.

Possibly. But that would also apply to everyone who came after Ago and may have shortened the careers of many of the riders as well. Either way, I was just reporting the data point: Ago is at #1 with 122 GP wins.

 

I'm an Agostini fan, but he was basically running a full works GP bike in the clubman class for a lot of those wins.

 

If it were Rossi who held the record, Id say cancel GP motorcycling for the rest of time so he keeps it.
