The good news is hurricane Francine will not be impacting the races this weekend, though there will be some cloudy skies.

Enjoy the nice weather and bring your umbrella anyway. Not because of any rain though.

Shade and A/C will be in vogue this weekend.

Yeah...after hearing the Hayden Gillim podcast, let's just say...I'm not a fan.

I went down a rabbit hole yesterday. First off, I’ll admit I was an SDK hater when that incident popped off. After hearing both sides, you can’t blame either party.

Looks like MA had found their golden boy and protected him, putting HG69 in a bind as he instantly became public enemy #1. SDK was a 17 year old that does what 17 year olds do (act a bit like the world belongs to you), unfortunately it was a perfect storm as the Rickdiculous Racing team was leaving Gillim high and dry. Tough spot to be in on both ends. 2019 was an awesome year for Supersport racing between Fong, Gillim, PJ and the SDK/Escalante that carried over to 2020 and 2021.

I dig that pipe dreams podcast. Wish they’d ask more fluid questions rather than the usual but I can see it taking off.

I know it is early, but was there some rebalancing in the Hooligans? The Indians are down in 9th and 11th.

The Texans have a history of doing that to Indians.

Looking at practice one, I see McWilliams on a Suzuki for S&S/Indian in 5th... wut?! Something clearly is screwy with those results. :D

MT-09 in 3rd, Streetfighter in 10th and 14th, KTM in 8th, I expect that order to change quite a bit in Q1.

Shows McWilliams on S&S 999 on the official results. Hopefully they aren't sending out to get in Cory's way...
Ale first time on the Duc ahead of Troy on the factory Indian, very impressive.

Normal service has resumed. Indian and HD are out front, but Dominic Doyle (Yam) and Alessandro di Mario (Duc) are slowly closing the gap to the front each round. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the ENE is keeping up with the pace of development in the class.

Wow, Xavi is 7 tenths faster than Cameron Peterson, the first time he is racing the bike.

High temps, looong straights, long overall track, power creep on the gassers, perfect storm of being hard on an e-bike.

Interesting, top speeds are down from 1st practice, 155s down to 140s? Something happen to the track conditions between this morning and afternoon?

Last year temps were a couple notches higher (115+), speeds were still up?
