Not a ton of rides out there and his getting rides good enough to show his talent has been inconsistent over the last 5 years. He'll do it though, the kid is good.
Mazz is racing a 390 till he turns 16 and then adding a 600 racing both for Jimmy Winters Motorsports.
This guy has some talent it would appear. Moto2, MotoGP, WSBK, FIM 1000 SSTK http://www.roadracingworld.com/news...k-racings-motoamerica-superstock-1000-effort/
That's good news. A little surprising considering that Aprilia folded their factory efforts in Europe this year.
What does Aprilia killing off the factory WSBK team have to do with HSBK's program? That's like speculating what would happen to the tides on earth if aphelion crashed into Uranus. and this part of the press release is complete bunk: "the team is proud to have had the most successful season in Aprilia’s US racing history." Hey, a certain BBSer brought Aprilia a 250cc championship. Hey HSBK, check your fuckin' history!
My assumption being they are getting some support from Aprilia, who chose not to offer that elsewhere.
Kind of strange that Honda going to this level of "involvement" whilst STILL not fielding an official team since like 2009 I think? http://www.roadracingworld.com/news...an-win-a-new-car-in-honda-superbike-showdown/
Also, what do they have to market currently? There aren't any new models in their lineup, and the existing models can't compete with what is out there right now. If/When they roll out a new SS/SBK killer, then I would imagine that they will roll out a team or join forces with an existing team similar to the Aprilia/HSBK racing deal. Hopefully that happens in 2017!
This I like. Let's get this series closer to the glory days and give these guys something to go after! http://www.sportrider.com/motoamerica-announces-honda-superbike-showdown
HSBK is a factory support team, on the world stage they want to be in motogp, i disagree, they had a really good bike for wsbk
