Bill Trowbridge, longtime WERA racer, was killed today on a street accident somewhere near Greenville SC. For those that didn’t know him, Bill was the nicest guy you’d ever want to meet. He was Dale Burroughs best friend for 29 years and was on Dale’s bike when it happened. He was always willing to help out fellow racers and really worked hard crewing for us in the endurance race at Roebling. Bill wasn’t married and I don’t know what extended family he leaves, but be in prayer for all those he leaves behind. Too much tragedy lately. I was in the practice session when Mark B. was injured. I’m just at a loss right now. Everyone please be safe this weekend. Chip
scott morris (from your old endurance days with our little team - just in case you havent seen him in awhile.) was also in one on the weekend, still in hospital but soon to be released. he will be ok, but has more than a few broken bones and a pretty bad concussion. i am sorry for the loss of your friend chip
RIP Bill Trowbridge. Deepest sympathy to any family he may have had. And deepest sympathy to Dale too. I know how passionate he is about his friends and loved ones and for Bill to have been on his bike I'm sure makes it even more difficult. GODSPEED
