my boy is 8 I'm trying to deceide what size to get him.
    a small wheel[12"] or big wheel[17"] then a 50cc or 72cc
or 80cc. Any help I'm leaning toward a small wheel 50cc
What kind of suit ? the pocket bike clubs say a motocross
suit with external body armor is fine.

If he's 8 definitely go with a metrakit. I've got one in great condition, it has the 72cc kit. Brand new set of bodywork wiht fresh paint, another spare set of bodywork inlcuding spare tank. Full range of gearing, new tires, fresh oil, its good to go. These bikes handle like a dream! I'll sell it for $3600, which is cheaper than a new 50 which is $3900, and a new 72 is $4500. For the suits, go to minigp50cc.com or ozbike.com whichever talk to ozzie saez, he can get you a suit to fit someone small for ~$500, and they're nice suits. I REALLY want to sell this bike because im trying to move a 125 next year as im turning 15 in 2 weeks. This bike makes between 21-23hp. It can hit 110 at jennings. The gearings is easy to change, in the 72cc kit it includes a racing pipe, 24mm carb, and of course all the motor stuff.

you can add the 50cc kit and bring it down to 10hp. this way when hes ready to go 72cc youve got everything

    Now THAT's a sales ploy!

I think he'll probably outgrow the 72 pretty fast- might as well get the kid a new R1. Some training wheels and a throttle lock off a PW50 and he'll be all set!

And for young and inexperienced, stress to mom that the bike can be severely restricted.

And, of course, watch your language. :D

You also have that NSR50 sitting in your showroom somewhere don't you Darrin?

Will the MetraKit with the 50cc kit in it outrun the NSR50?

I've never saw one in 50cc trim. The kitted 72s, are unreal.

Right, I'm not sure if it was a YSR or NSR on the track with them.
    Does Honda still make a NSR50 ?

    2006, they made it a 100 four-stroke.

    We've still got the liquid-cooled, six-speed 50cc two-stroke version.
