Good to know Escalante is healed up ready to rock n roll
That's interesting....so where does Team Hammer get their Suzuki parts and support from? Just do everything in house or did they have enough left over parts from last year since the bikes are essentially unchanged for the last several seasons now.
hmm, I have more questions than answers but I hope there is more to come from m4.
As of today the Shark sales office is in Chicago area and is selling dealer direct?
Shark is interesting because there are people selling them on facebook at what must be close to cost that are from Chicago but is not a business name.
wonder what the deal is with that.
I would bet those helmets are pronounced "Shark" but spelled "Shalk".
Nope they are the real deal according to the people that have bought them
As mentioned elsewhere Tucker was the exclusive importer back in 2oo6, then someone said Troy Lee Designs was the importer? But as mentioned before I found this and they're selling dealer direct and have been?

The helmet business is soo weird!!
Suzuki racing didn't close up shop?
TLD is the current Shark helmet distributor.
The TR thing was decades ago and I want to recall seeing Shark in WPS catalogs in like 2010-13 year range... I think.
I'll look in the old WPS catalog stuff at the shop this weekend. Is where I got the Redding / Arma Energy Race R Pro replica on closeout, IIRC.
The Illinois folks is part of CIMA International and have done the Shark / Nolan / X-Lite gig for a few years.
My Race R Pro GP was from a FB sale from one of those guys and was a dealer return with the spoiler graphics not lined up. Brand new just missing the tags and box. And said spoiler sticker issue.
All that typed, the CIMA folks never seeemed to have anything... visors, cheekpads, liners, nothing. Shark or X-Lite. Had Brad Ray from UK get me new top liner, cheekpads and visor as spares for my Shark GP.
Is this new as of 2023?
The Moto GP team closed shop. Team Hammer builds the bikes and the team name suggests they are still supported by Suzuki (Ecstar Suzuki). Also, the press release was put out by Suzuki Motor USA.
Love this. Elias is great for motoa
Wow, did not see that coming at all.
