I want something cruiser/cafe racer like. Comfortable for the wife and has some jam. I like the XR1200 or the new Sportster Roadster but I'd like some other options. I like the Yamaha Bolt but I'd need to add NOS to it because the engine is lacking big time. What else is out there that makes decent power that doesn't look like a full blown cruiser?

No I haven't, are the specs making the bike seem like it's less than it is?

    That xsr looks pretty sweet!

The new for 2017 colors are badass. Saw the new catalog at my local dealer that he just brought back from the dealer show.

It's a little too cruiser for me.

I guess I should have said I'm not into spending more than $12k

Do you want it to be fast, or just look cool?

FZ09 is fast. A Thruxton looks cool.

I want something that'll give my arms a good yank, I can row it trough a couple gears and not hit over 100mph. The xsr might not be quite what I'm looking for motor wise but looks it ticks most if not all the boxes.

My wife will be coming with me once in awhile so she needs to be somewhat comfortable.

don't see why you couldn't swap on a standard Thruxton or other Triumph seat when needed.

I have a triumph scrambler. Comfortable for the Gf on the back, not too fast but not too slow either. Perfect for taking out for a couple hours plus it can do wheelies.
