Let's see your crashed and f'd up race bikes

I have a bunch...

Here's my 4DP TZ250 that I wadded up at the WSMC new racer's school (hadn't raced in years so I had to re-take the school). This was 2005 (Danny Farnsworth passed me despite the crash). I was trying to get into the 29's and ran out of traction exiting turn 2. The bike ghost rode all the way to turn 3 and launched off the embankment.

 

2015……I think, I ate it in the wet coming through 4 at summit. As we went sliding, the bike hit the transition from pavement to dirt and flung up in the air. I clearly remember watching it coming down from the sky as I was sliding along, saying “oh fuck don’t land on me!” Did a couple more bounces before landing teetering on the tire wall. Looked about as bad as your TZ if not worse. Forks were all pretzeled up. When the race was done and the truck came, they wanted to hook a chain up and drag it. I told them “no fucking way, I’ll pick it up off the wall. I need this bike in 2 weeks for njmp round!” They laughed. But I got down off the wall and picked the fucker up to help set it into the truck. Luckily I’m an FZR parts whore, so had all the spares I needed to get it done, and did in fact race it 2 weeks later Everybody thought it was a different bike, but nope. I had a picture for a long time, but gone with my last phone

 

God dammit. First response is already a fail. This record is going to be hard to beat.

 

2007 I was exiting turn 1 at Willow when the transmission locked up and down I went on the Aprilia RS250.

 

I'm not in. I'm getting senile enough now to not relive the one that almost paralyzed me every time I go to sleep.

BUT!!!! I did low side at Willow and slid on my ass, legs spread. This is gonna be easy and not hurt. . . until I looked at what was coming up. . . A wall? A lion? A tree mulcher? A naked fat chick? Fucking stones and saplings headed right towards my crotch. 50 to 70 yards of mowing trees and rocks with my crotch. I think I hit every one.

 

In Britx 303’s Defense.. I’m sure he has a perfect Picture of it in his Head .. why do we always have to be so .. Technically Correct.

The bottom of the swingarm broke where the linkage attached which caused the crash. All it needed was a swingarm, front brake line and windscreen if memory serves correctly. Thankfully it happened on a straight and not a corner or I might still be in orbit

 

would you share the manufacturer?

 

Other than one Talladega, almost all of mine have been concussions, or ambulance rides, and can't remember taking any pictures.
I have some really good ones of my last race where, John James totaled his 675 at Willow Springs, saved on my phone.

Wish I had a picture of the 250cc single I almost totalled. Bent forks and yolks, both rims dished and a bent swinging arm. It didn't hit anything, I think it just went end over end, I was bouncing down the road so I didn't see.
