What are some good ways to prepare for a track you've never been to? Im planning on taking advantage of the $30 1x membership deal thing WERA has going on and doing the race weekend at summit. Having never been to Summit, I was going to do the RL track day friday, and then a few races over the weekend. Any track specific tips? I already have my deer whistle :D

Hook up with a coach at the RL day and have them take you around - they've got some really good coaches/racers on staff who'll be able to teach you the key braking and turn-in points pretty quick.

Summit's not a 'difficult' layout to learn, but there are some tricks to it.

Look at a map, then determine what animal it looks like....

    :D I love that video.

Play the track on your Playstation. Of course, finding Summit might be problematic on MotoGP 08.
