Lap timer mounting

Ok guys.....03-05 (2nd gen R6) where and how did you mount your lap timer. I need pics!
Note, have a scotts damper so no mounting on top of the triple.

what type of fairing stay to you have on the R6? If its a graves, there is an empty 10mm threaded hole in the center right in front of the gauges. You can make a little bracket and bolt it right there, thats how i did mine and it works perfectly.

 

Are you talking about the display or the pickup?

 

I apologize... I read transponder for some reason.

 

display, i use the 6' cord for the pickup and mount it on the tail section.

 

Not trying to thread jack...but what if you have the two foot cable?

 

Calkidd, I had the 2ft cord and I mounted the receiver part on the ram air duct. Worked really well for me.

 

Velcro'd on tank.

same for receiver on fairings sides.

 

I was thinking the same thing. If for some reason my arm gets in the way I will figure something else out.

I bought that holder @same time than the Mychron...when I didn't know

better...does not work with flush forks.

cant you just pop off the top triple and mount under the triple instead of on top? just thought id ask..im sure there are some clearance issues or something..

www.xtracing.com are great folks (David Weber and family). Im betting for about $10 or so, you can send it to them and they'll switch out the 2' cord for a 6. Theyve done that for me before as well as a few other folks i know of.
