Yeah I doubt he envies Lorenzo much.. if at all.
He barely lost those championships and that one penalty that handed Lorenzo the championship was questionable and bogus.. no different than when Spies beat Mladin. By that point he had nothing to prove, I think he was just trying to prove to himself that he wasn't an old man anymore... Hell , he pretty much uncharacteristically and inexplicably gifted NikeyHayden his championship..
But a win is win how many championships have been one off second and third places! Thems the rules. The best & fattest certainly does not always win..lol
