even after his 8th in the LW solo, he was still 'well gee-shucks, I don't think I belong as a white plate' then to come out Sunday morning with a 3rd in LWSS kinda put his head on a platter for Mongo to pummel with "I told you so's"

it seems like only yesterday he was turning 1:38's at Summit...how time flies.

one of these days, he'll actually realize he's fast...then it'll really be Pookie-time!!!

 

But Chris kept saying his lap times on the SV were almost as good as Chad on the motard........

 

So you're saying he's running out of excuses?

Thanks for all of the encouragement you guys... My first race weekend at VIR in 2005, I quickly learned to be humble about my riding... I'm still shocked when I look at the lap charts...

I remember (like it was yesterday) what it was like to be "that guy" that got lapped in the 4-lap mock race, then almost crashed and ran off the track, by myself, on the cool down lap...

 

We will never speak of this again.
