IP address tracing help

I have a friend who recieved a disturbing email from a fake Gmail account, I was able to trace the IP who created the account and who sent the email. I can only trace it back to the ISP Verizon in Princeton, NJ anyone have any ideas how to go further back then that?

If it's a threat then it's against the law. Call the cops.

 

Verizon's headquarters is in NJ so you discovered nothing more then who the ISP is. Sorry, you probably have nothing
