39 years this coming Saturday, together for over 41 years. Absolutely the best decision I’ve ever made was asking for her hand in marriage.
If you had bought a real boat, this never would have happened. Kidding man. Hope you're dealing with it OK.
Doing ok, thanks, the other side looks bright. brex beat you to the shitty jet boat reference in the divorce thread.
Just hit 23 years married last month and together another 11 before that. I know the 11 years dating sounds crazy but it wasn't supposed to be so long. We we making plans to get married about 5 years in. The venue we chose went out of business and took our money. At that point we decided to wait a minute, buy a house together in a new town and get my business going. I will describe it all like this. It hasn't always been easy but it has been worth it.
It was 4 666 days of hell for me lol Not kidding it worked out like that And even worse: 666 weeks 4 days lmao
11 years married this past May, together for 16. She was mad at me for going to the titty bar the other night and "wasting our money on strippers" (went to the Arsenal-Liverpool game with buddies and they wanted to see tits afterwards), and I used Jedi mind tricks to turn that into her giving me a lap dance later that day. Marriage ain't all bad
Known her for 32 years, married for 20. She said she was waiting for me to grow up and then gave up waiting. I did break my collarbone at Grattan after our first date too so she knew what she was in for.
What did you do with the rest of her? It's hard to have kids with just her hand.....all that you contribute has no real place to go to complete the process.
