I've always used the wal-mart stuff. 5 year warranty, and they always tend to fail around year 6.

I love how people talk about warranties, warranty doesnt mean jack shit when the thing won't start to get you back to the store.

 

If all the batteries are made by just a handful of places, how can there be that much of a difference in how they perform?

For streetbike batteries, do you guys use Yuasa or just whatever is on sale?

 

Except when it's AAA and they come out to install it for free 24/7

 

Yuasa is the only one that seems dead nuts reliable.

 

Don't care what brand you buy. Before you put the Batt into service, charge it low and slow for 24hrs. My Advance platinum was built in '05. Still spins the shit out of that starter.

 

For my street bikes I use Alien Motion usually and track bike Ballistic. Why the two different brand? Because I can I guess and trying to support everyone

Up here everybody uses Optima. If I want my truck to start at -40 or -50 I have to use the Optima. Below - 50 it might or might not start. Then I wish I had a garage.

 

I use AC Delco... Have been using them on customer stuff and mine for a decade now. Best value out there.
