HELP! Raleigh NC area - Diesel failure

Ok this is a long shot but got a call from School District Secretary just now and her son who is one of my DE kids from last year is in the Raleigh NC area with a 7.3 Ford failure of some sort (loss of power - no details).

Anyway, they’re stuck and far from home - got a mom that’s worried - y’all get it.

Here’s their location - if anyone can help them out, please let me know or post up and I’ll pass the info along.

10mm wrench and a cam sensor

Try that first. You can do it on side of road easily

 

If it still runs and they lost power, I’ve had the hose that goes to the intercooler blow off a couple different times.

 

Ideally, throw it on a scanner and see what codes show up.
