Crashed in front of a lot of riders, got up, got clipped and knocked back down into more of a blind area and hit by a couple of bikes. Corner worker there did great but nothing much anyone could do as tight as they were all bunched up.
i met Scott at the last nelson ledges race last year when i was spectating. he seemed like a pretty good dude. its always tough to hear of anyone getting injured. hopefully both guys will recover quickly and get back out on the track! well wishes for both people involved!!!
after finally getting back to racing, and witnessing the helo landing, but only now reading the details presented here, I also pray for a complete and speedy recovery for the 2 injured riders as well... and comfort for their families...
i just got home from VIR. I hope and pray, Keith and Scott have speedy recovery. It sucks to see riders go down but nice to see how "the family" responds. I`m sure the prayers and positive thoughts will inspire both guys.
Get well soon guys!!! The Ess's are a problem for the North course. Crashes don't easily clear the track and down riders get hit. Similar to Toriano's tragedy last year in the Red Bull Rookie Cup. God bless you guys.
