i need a reccomendation for a good generator, i only need it for 1 set of tire warmers, looking for the smallest and most economical choice...............
the small one is almost as quiet as the honda's, and less $$ http://www.stickboyracing.com/generators.html
which one are u guys running? 1000W from what i've read might not be enough? i'm going to using them on an sv 650...........
I have the 2600 that he sells. So basically, you have twice the power for 1/2 the price of the Honda. The honda is a great generator, very quiet, but not worth the price IMO.
You may PM him and ask for a specific weight. But I can lift and carry it, a little aquard but it can be done.
ya, ive carried one for Sarg before. Speaking of him, anyone know where he is? His number's i have is DC'd... At any rate, thats a nice gen for what ya need. Fairly quiet, economical and efficient
Ya, he'd rather not, but you might be able to convince him. Also, lots of people travel from all over the place for various track stuff in the South...you might be able to arrange a ride for a generator. Where are you located? Oh, I had one of the 2600's for a long time too...loved it. I only traded it in to Stick because I needed a bigger model to power more stuff (got a toy hauler).
Has anyone used an "All-Power" generator from Pep Boys. They advertise it as a 2000 watt digital generator 54-59db for $249.00. I didn't know if that was quiet enough not to be annoying. Any experiences?
http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_6970_449_449 This is what I have, go pick it up at a local northern tool store. Even comes with casters. After I put oil in it, started on the second pull. and Its enough power for 2 sets of warmers and still not be at full capacity. Its sound level is reasonable also.
Personally my wife thinks the Honda EU2000i is the best... - Very Quiet - Starts on the first pull - Runs to sets of ChickenHawk warmers without triggering the overload - Wife can pick it up and put it in the SUV. - Cost new $850 online. - Cost on craigslist $600+
