I have the 2600 that he sells. So basically, you have twice the power for 1/2 the price of the Honda. The honda is a great generator, very quiet, but not worth the price IMO.

Ya, he'd rather not, but you might be able to convince him. Also, lots of people travel from all over the place for various track stuff in the South...you might be able to arrange a ride for a generator. Where are you located?

Oh, I had one of the 2600's for a long time too...loved it. I only traded it in to Stick because I needed a bigger model to power more stuff (got a toy hauler).

Has anyone used an "All-Power" generator from Pep Boys. They advertise it as a 2000 watt digital generator 54-59db for $249.00. I didn't know if that was quiet enough not to be annoying. Any experiences?

Personally my wife thinks the Honda EU2000i is the best...
    - Very Quiet
    - Starts on the first pull
    - Runs to sets of ChickenHawk warmers without triggering the overload
    - Wife can pick it up and put it in the SUV.
    - Cost new $850 online.
    - Cost on craigslist $600+
