this is a good question. Since i only have one day ever at that track, and that was 3 years ago, i have no idea what gearing i should use. What SE track is it most like? RRR, Tally, Barber??

I think close to VIR. A few flowing turns, then a nice staight going downhill into a righ hander that if you nail carries you thru a sweeping straight 6th gear 150 or more into a tight left, switch back then right leading into the main straight.
I might have missed a turn, but I bet there is a track map someplace.
It's fast enough. Greenie wath gearing should I use for Road A?

Start out using Talladega gearing. There is no real long straight (the back straight is longest). It really is 2 tracks in one, the first half is flowing turns, the second half is point and shoot.

thanks Brian. From what i remember of it, the first half is like RRR, the second half is actually more tech. than Tally. I had planned on using Tally gearing to start with, just wanted to make sure that it was close.

Yeah that sounds about right. If anythig you might go up a tooth in the back.

I would go down a gear in the back from what you use at Tally. You can definitely use the extra top end on the back straight.

    :D :D :D
